Festival Hosts

Howdy Friends!  We sure welcome you to this website and are very glad you visited us.  My wife, Penny, and I are avid bluegrass fans, attending several festivals each year.  We love good pickin' and singin', and we love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

There is no form of bluegrass music which moves our hearts like gospel bluegrass music.  Therefore, it has been in our hearts for several years to promote a totally Bluegrass Gospel Festival here in Mid Missouri.  We have chosen to accomplish three things with Brick City Bluegrass: 

 1.  Fulfill our hearts desire for a totally Gospel Bluegrass Festival 

 2.  Provide a venue where others can enjoy and be exposed to this great American music

 3.  To help out our local Christian Radio Station KJAB "The Master's Radio" 88.3 FM-They have been playing southern gospel and bluegrass gospel music for the past 23 years.  That's why we decided to host this event and allow KJAB to sell tickets and handle the concessions, with ALL of those proceeds going to help their station broadcast our favorite style of music. 

We are excited to invite each of you to this great event.  To our knowledge, it's the only totally Gospel Bluegrass Festival in Mid Missouri.  Talk about a family friendly event-we have it!  Tickets are only $10 each, and children under 10 are free.  Come enjoy a great, climate-controlled environment as the festival will be held in the recently completed Audrain 4-H building in Mexico, MO.
